1.0                 TRI KIT

After a couple of design revisions, the kit is now in production. We don’t have a firm date for delivery as yet but have asked LG to try and put a rush on it so we can wear in training and upcoming races.

2.0                 WORKOUTS

Check the calendar for latest schedule – see updated swim, run and bike workouts coming up soon.

3.0                TRAINING TIPS

Open water swimming is a totally different experience to that in a pool. No black-line to follow, no push-off from the wall and smooth water. Contrast that with open water where you have to continually sight to see where you’re going, avoid the flailing arms and legs of your competitors and where, unless you’re in a lake, the water is far from smooth.

Here’s an article from Triathlete magazine that provides some useful tips:

4.0                 SPEAKER

Ken White gave a great presentation on adventure racing, gruesome photos and all, together with a demonstration of really packing light! I take way too much stuff when I travel clearly. Thanks again Ken.

Upcoming speaker is to be announced.

6.0           OTHER EFFLUVIA

One day, a man came home and was greeted by his wife dressed in a very alluring nightie. "Tie me up," she purred, "and you can do anything you want." So he tied her up and went for a ride.
