There are lots of options right here in the North Bay and for those who want to pay the toll some exciting swims up in the City area.

Weekday swims are now at Terra Linda Rec Center from approx. 7.00am Mon, Wed, Thurs. Drop in fee is $5 (San Rafael residents) or you can buy a season pass. Beautiful outdoor pool, great swims now that the sun is out!http://www.cityofsanrafael.org/Visitors/Terra_Linda_Community_Pool.htm
Periodically, TCM members will hit the open water in Marin – usually in Tiburon Cove, but also McNears beach, Paradise Cove and Bel Marin Keys.

Mill Valley
Tam High School – lap swim available weekdays and weeknights with an active triathlete (incl. some pros) attendance.
Mill Valley Community Center has an indoor pool for lap swim. The pool is a somewhat odd size.
Corte Madera/Larkspur

Tam Racquet Club – lap swim for members only
Bay Club Marin – 25yd indoor pool, members only

Drake High School
Rafael Racquet Club has lap swim but must be a member
San Rafael
Marin YMCA – free swim if a member, $10 drop-in.
Terra Linda Rec Center – open lap swim and coached classes (Sunday 10.30am, drop-in $7)

Osher JCC lap swim – must be a member.
Novato
College of Marin (IVC) – must either be a student or, on Sundays, TriMoreFitness offers coached workouts at the pool for a drop-in fee (free if you’re one of their coached athletes, TCM gets a $5 discount).
YMCA Hamilton pool is also available to Y members.
San Francisco
Aquatic Park – free! The best price of all. Swim with the seals and the crazy wetsuit-free (brrr) Dolphin Club members.
Pedro Ordenes' famous Thursday swims at Aquatic Park (Mar-Sept) plus Sunday swims year round.
